The famous Four Seasons Bowling Alley on West Chestnut St. As the story goes, Frankie Valli and his band mates auditioned for a gig in the lounge and got turned down. They liked the name of the place and decided to use it for their group. This photo was taken before the property was used to build a Costco Store.
This is a very rare photo of Union Speedway located on the South side of Farchers Grove where Iorio Court exists today off of Springfield Road. The first known use of the term "Big Car" in racing advertising was in advertising was for this track which existed from about 1936 to 1940.
