The first known use of the term "Big Car" in racing advertising was in an ad for The Union Speedway located near Farchers Grove on Springfield ave. The racetrack existed from about 1936 to about 1942.
This is a very rare photo of Union Speedway located on the South side of Farchers Grove where Iorio Court exists today off of Springfield Road.
