The stage crew mans the massive theatrical lighting console in this 1956 photo taken at the old Union High School which is now Burnet Middle School.
Union High School Jazz Band of 1926. The young woman holding the saxaphone, in the middle top row was the Band Teacher, Miss Virginia Smith. She was the daughter of Charles E. Smith, the Union Tax Assessor, and grand niece of Police Chief Charles Hopkins. The violin player in the lower right is Harold Heuer.
