City Federal Savings and Loan building on Stuyvesant Ave in Union center near Vauxhall Rd. This buiding was designed in 1961 by famous architect Edward Durell Stone who also designed The Museum of Modern Art and Radio City Music hall. His son Edward Durell Stone Jr. designed the landscaping.
Pyro Plastics Corporation of Union has supplied countless model and toys to kids of all ages. Headed by Bill Lester who invented the modern injection molding process. The company moved to Union in 1960 onto what is now Brighton St. and was sold in 1972.
