Historic homes and some not so historic homes in Union. We have included some old homes near the very end of their lives unearthed from old Fire Dept. files. Some of these homes were condemned and burned for firemen training.
Located at 530 Chestnut Street at the South West corner of Colonial ave this house was demolished to build something in the future. This building once housed the Anti- Communist and Anti -Semetic newspaper named "Common Sense" in the 50's. The paper claimed to have 50,000 subscribers at one time and was run by Conde McGinley who died in Union in 1963.
